There’s a storm brewing, and it’s time to take shelter. Whether you’re battling the elements, or just plain battling...a truly epic collision has occurred. One of US Defense Department proportions: Vintage WWII era olive drab canvas duck tent material has found itself forever intertwined with vintage war-grade M35 military canvas/vinyl truck tarps. Introducing the Shelter series. Thankfully, the only kill here is overkill. Think about it, both materials protected soldiers from the elements. Rain. Sleet. Snow. Hail. Hellish conditions. Now decommissioned, these materials have been hand-crafted to shelter your world from whatever is thrown at it. And while we’re on the subject of throwing: Defy has thrown two, 1” AustriAlpin Cobra quick release buckles on this bad boy for good measure. And tethered them to the bag with parachute strapping. Special Forces buckles, vintage military tents, vintage military transport vehicle tarps. Does it get any better than this? Seek shelter.
PROUDLY HAND-CRAFTED IN THE UNITED STATES.

I don't even understand why you should pick an other bag from here. The Shelter is definitely the most sexy bag from here. It looks exactly as a globe-trotter marrying a business man, you can wear it in a conference room and in the jungle looking for lost temples.
So why even search for an other one? It's waterproof (thanks truck tarp), light as a feather, soft (it will bend around your body when empty, you will not even realize it's on you), strong, big when full, small when empty, the perfect match. No, really, if it hold on for years like like I expect it to, well I will never need a pedestrian messenger bag.
The only downside would be that the back of the bag is not covered with this gorgeous dark green canvas (way more dark than in the pictures). It has black that is not working that well. But as you wear it, it's invisble so it's just a minor default.
This bag is a killer, and if you consider buying one of those wonderfull Defy Bags, you just can't go wrong with this one, it has a personality, an unique one. Must Have.

This may be the coolest bag I've ever seen!
